The fish are showing up more and more each trip out now. My percentage of landing fish is still real bad, but I am getting a few to the bank lately. Sandy river is picking up on a daily basis, with many fish being caught between Dodge and Cedar creek hatchery. The fish at first seem to be of good size, although the ones I have been able to get have only been in the 7 pound range, if that. I am hoping for a return on my favorite creek this season, and also may do some guiding for a few special guests from out of town. Here are some pics from the last couple trips out.
