With nearly 50 to the boat, and many others exercised, the 2 guys from New Jersey smashed em’.
Jamie and Karl came to the Situk River to experience Steelhead fishing at its best, and they got what they came for.
Looking forward to seeing them again, possibly for Sockeye next round.

The Situk did not disappoint this week.
Lots of chrome fish entering the system on each tide, and they are bitting.
Robbie Newman fished with his center pin Edge Rod the last four days and brought nearly 40 fish to the boat.
Weather looks to be changing to rain this next week, so we expect the fishing to continue to be great.

This week, I was able to guide one of my oldest clients again. I’ve been fishing with OJ for over 10 years and we always have a great time. We had another fun week with low clear water and plenty of steelhead to catch and release.

The steelhead are heading up the Situk River, and we couldn’t be having more fun. The water is low and clear. We’re back at it up here in Yakutat, Alaska. Steelhead are making their way up the Situk River, and the weather has been sunny and warm. I’ve had a great time with my first set of clients. We were lucky enough to catch and release several beautiful fish these past few days.
